Then you should apply for the UN SDG Action Campaign MY World 360° Media Competition 2021 for Immersive media creators worldwide!!

MY World 360° is calling for immersive experiences that take viewers – decision makers, individuals, business leaders, students across the world – on a journey across the two sides of this Turning Point. 

Creators are invited to use whatever tools are available in their location to create media, from augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), 360° video and photography, to 3D design to show the multi-dimensionality of their local communities and creative visions for a better world.

Application Instructions

Upload videos to a video sharing site like Vimeo.com (Vimeo offers a free account enabling uploads of up to 500MB weekly)  or YouTube with the following information about each video included in the description.

  • Artist Statement: (100 word maximum description of the video)
  • Sustainable Development Goals addressed: 
  • School/Organization, City, State, Country: 
  • Producers (include only first name and last initial for those under 18):
  • Educator/Mentor Name(s): 
  • Tag your media using #MYWorld360 #Act4SDGs and any specific SDGs your media addresses.

About the UN SDG Action Campaign MY World 360° Media Competition

UN SDG Action Campaign

Since its launch in 2018, MY World 360° annual selections have screened and inspired people across the world at the UN General Assembly, UN SDG Global Festival of Action, film festivals, schools and community events and cultural institutions. MY World 360° is a collaboration among Digital Promise, Oculus from Facebook, and the UN SDG Action Campaign.

Key Dates and Order of Program

  • Creators are invited to share work on a rolling basis between now and August 5, 2021 for consideration to be screened alongside UN events and activations throughout the year.
  • Selected media will be memorable stories of impact that inspire action: stories of women leaders and agents of change, stories that shine a spotlight on communities and individuals who are already leading on climate, progressing towards gender equality and creating a more peaceful, just and inclusive world. 
  • The stories will provoke viewers to feel the urgency as well as the opportunity to make this a turning point for people and the planet.
