If you’re a budding innovative entrepreneur building an impactful tech business and want to go above and beyond, submit your application for the Orange Ventures Africa & Middle East Challenge for a chance to get a tech grant that’ll help your business reach its maximum potential. 

 The challenge will grant up to €150, 000 seed investments to each of 7 winning startups from Cameroon, Egypt, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, and Senegal. 

Bring your portfolio to the challenge, get selected as an investee, and bring your business’s bold vision into existence. 

If you are selected, you will receive funding, mentorship, helpful business tips, and get to partner with Orange.

7 shortlisted African and Middle-East entrepreneurs will receive:

  • From €50,ooo up to €150, 000 per investment
  • Mentoring and support for their businesses for over a year
  • A business  partnering relationship with Orange Ventures 


You’re urged to apply only if :

  • You have a business vision with a fervor for growth and expansion
  • You are willing to partner with Orange
  • You are a tech-driven start-up
  • You are mainly operating in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, and Jordan
  • You run Seed-stage company and have not raised more than €1m in total equity funding

Key Dates and Order of Program

The deadline for submission of all applications is July 19, 2020. 

Investees will be announced in September 2020 (date isn’t definite due to COVID-19 crisis)

The pre-selection process involves 1 or 2 interviews with the Orange Ventures team

Right after which successful applicants are selected and granted the investment.
