  • Nigerian Citizens

About the I-FAIR Isreal Nigeria Innovation Fellowship

The Innovation Fellowship for Aspiring Inventors and Researchers is an initiative for raising a generation of innovators, inventors and researchers in Nigeria. 

This 6-month innovation start-up initiative of the Israeli Embassy in Nigeria and the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria will provide needed workspace, equipment and mentoring to participants, to enable them transform their idea into inventions, innovations into solutions and prototypes, ready for industrial uptake.

i-Fair 2021/22 Event Timeline

  • 1st September, 2021 – 30th September, 2021: Submission of Application
  • 1st October, 2021 – 15th November, 2021: Selection and Invitation Distribution.
  • December: Stage 1 – Opening Week
    • Opening Event and interactive innovation conference- open to invited guests and for i-Fair participants.
    • 4 days Interactive innovation bootcamp for i-Fair participants.
  • 11th December, 2021 – 15th February, 2022: Stage 2
    • Preliminary Validation of Concept and Market
    • Online Training: “Entrepreneurship and Business development”


  • 15th February, 2022 – 31st May, 2022: Stage 3
    • Practical Product and Business Development
  • 6th June, 2022 – 9th June, 2022: Stage 4 – Closing Week
    • 6th – 7th: Getting ready for Demo Day
    • 8th – 9th: Grand Finale Demo Day and Exhibition: Presentation and demonstration of the inventions to guests and potential investors.
