Win up to 300,000 EUR in the Civil Society Program for (For Albania and Kosovo NGOs)

Are you an NGO registered in Albania or Kosovo? Then you should apply for the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) program.

The Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Partners Albania for Change and Development (PA) are inviting domestic Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) from Albania and Kosovo to apply for project grants.

The overall goal of the programme is to support the democratic participation and development of a strong and vibrant civil society in Albania and Kosovo, by supporting NGOs that advance the EU accession process through contribution to one of the following thematic areas:

  • For CSOs in Albania
    • Non-discrimination and marginalised groups;
    • Independent media;
    • Environment protection;
    • Anti-corruption
  • For CSOs in Kosovo
    • Non-discrimination and gender equality;
    • Minorities and marginalized groups
    • Environment protection
    • Anti-corruption

Benefits

  • The overall amount available for the project is 300,000 EUR which would be distributed among the implementing partners/countries:
    • Kosovo: 180,000 EUR
    • Albania: 120,000 EUR
  • The total proposed budget size of the applications to be financed by this programme must fall between the following thresholds:
    • Minimum amount: EUR 25,000 (including audit costs)
    • Maximum amount: EUR 30,000 (including audit costs)

Eligibility

The opportunity is open to :

  • Registered domestic non-governmental/non-for-profit organization registered in Albania and Kosovo are not eligible to ap

Requirements/Specifications

Applicants should:

  • Be active NGOs;
  • Be registered as a domestic non-governmental/non-for-profit organization, according to the Albanian and Kosovo legislation (branches of foreign and international NGOs registered in Albania and Kosovo are not eligible to apply);
  • Be fully responsible for project implementation. Partnerships with other NGOs are allowed only if the leading organization takes full responsibility for project implementation and management, including execution of all project expenditures;
  • Have a mission that is in line with the thematic area to which the application corresponds; and
  • Show relevant capacity and experience with regards to the proposed project
